This trail is part of the Florida Trailwalker Program. It is a nice hike around a pond. There isn't much cover from above and it is pretty dry. There is some interesting coral-looking moss covering much of the ground and there is lots of sand.
From Dunnellon go S on U.S. 41, turn E on to CR 39, go 5.5 miles. Trailhead is on the S side.
